Culverts, Sized Right

A culvert is only as good as its size and its grade. Too small and it backs up and floods; set wrong and it silts in. We size culverts for the flow they will actually see and set them at the right grade so water moves through instead of around.

Half of drainage is just shaping the ground so water runs off clean. We cut and shape ditches, establish grade, and build swales that carry water away from your buildings, pads and roads to somewhere it can go safely.

When a wash starts, it only gets worse, cutting deeper every rain. We repair pasture washes and eroded areas by reshaping the ground, fixing the grade and drainage that caused it, and armoring where needed so it holds.
